A Day in the Role
You start the morning syncing with your recruiting team, reviewing hot requisitions across manufacturing, warehouse, skilled trades, construction, general labor, and administrative roles. With a clear plan, you shift into sourcing mode, tapping job boards, social channels, referrals, community groups, and upcoming hiring events to build a deep, ready-to-go pipeline. Mid-morning, you move between English and Spanish interviews with ease, probing for skills, reliability, shift flexibility, transportation, and cultural fit. You partner with client hiring managers to coordinate interviews and calibrate on must-haves, then refine job ads to attract the right talent fast.
After lunch, you coach recruiters on screening techniques, set daily goals, and track performance. You check the ATS to keep candidate and employee records accurate and current, and you follow up with clients on submissions, interview feedback, offers, start dates, and evolving staffing needs. When an employee flags a concern about attendance or an assignment, you address it quickly and professionally. By late afternoon, you’re identifying creative strategies to fill a tough, high-volume order and confirming your team is aligned with compliance expectations and confidentiality standards.
