What You'll Do as an Information & Technology Trainer
As an Information & Technology Trainer at Lewis Services, you'll:
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and presentations on technology and software topics, both in-person and virtually. Evaluate the impact of training programs and provide feedback to partnering departments to improve training retention. Deliver specialized training on platforms such as the LMS, Microsoft Office, EHS Insights, Tiempo, and other systems as required. Adapt training methods and materials to meet different learning styles and organizational needs. Mentor and support employees as they apply new skills, serving as a go-to technology expert and field resource. Facilitate practical, hands-on training and demonstrations in real-world settings. Visit divisions across the company footprint to build relationships and ensure consistent adoption of technology tools. Partner with corporate departments to learn new systems and roll out training initiatives. Assist with implementing additional training programs related to tree care, spray, or other safety topics as needed. Participate in continuous improvement and professional development through certifications, classes, and conference.
Qualifications
What You Bring
Strong knowledge and experience with technology and software used in the field environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, present, and assess learning outcomes. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across departments. Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple training projects. Adaptability and critical-thinking skills to adjust training approaches to diverse environments. Working knowledge of technology platforms commonly used by utility companies for tree care. Problem-solving mindset and self-motivation when operating with limited field resources. Willingness to travel within the company footprint. Bilingual (Spanish - written and spoken). Preferred Associate's, Bachelor's, or equivalent certification in a related field (or ability to obtain within one year of hire).
Physical Demands
Ability to:
Sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive keystrokes regularly. Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, and lift/move up to 25 lbs. Travel regularly, including overnight stays via ground or air. Continuously - Sitting, communicating, using computers. Frequently - Walking, driving. Occasionally - Climbing, lifting, kneeling. Rarely - Exposure to hazardous materials. Never - Confined spaces.
Environmental Conditions
Regularly - Office environment. Occasionally - Outdoor exposure, temperature extremes. Rarely - Hazardous materials, air quality issues. Never - Confined spaces.
Comments:
PPE required per OSHA and ANSI standards. Travel is a regular part of the role.

Equipment may include:
Computers, phones, tablets, scanners, and copiers. Software training platforms and instructional tools. Fleet and field-based technology used in operational settings.
