DCP Tours is looking for an enthusiastic and personable Portuguese/English Bilingual Tour Guide & Storyteller to join their team in Washington, DC.As a DCP Tour guide, the successful candidate will help visitors discover the history, culture, and landmarks of Washington, DC through engaging and memorable experiences. About the PositionThis is a seasonal, on-demand independent contractor opportunity with DCP Tours. Hours and assignments vary according to reservations and business demand. Spanish is a plus.Excellent communication and public-speaking skills.Friendly, professional, reliable and comfortable working with diverse audiences.Passion for history, culture, tourism or storytelling.Comfortable walking approximately 2 miles per tour and working outdoors in different weather conditions.Previous guiding, hospitality, education, theater, history or public-speaking experience is a plus.A valid driver's license is preferred, especially for candidates interested in private car-tour assignments.
