Biller/Coder/Receptionist

Essential Responsibilities The Biller/Coder/Receptionist isto provide assistance in the billing department of the physician practice at Pease. Reviewing, preparing claims for submission. Following up on delayed/denied claims and assisting with EMR. Entering demographics and obtaining any missing information on patients. Intermittently checking/registering patients and work with charting. Flexibility is a must, as employee is expected to cover coworker when absent. Employee will be responsible for all held claims in theathenasystem. He/she will review reports, and correct all claims for submission. Contact insurance companies and or patients as is often required. This person must work well independently, be result-driven and work efficiently.
