A media company is seeking a Billing Analyst 1 in Nashville, Tennessee. This role supports core billing operations, invoice processing, reconciliations, and related accounting activities in a hybrid environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Complete billing processes in boundary systems and interface data to the ERP system.
- Generate timely invoices and adjustments while ensuring proper approvals.
- Follow up with requestors to gather missing information and resolve billing issues.
- Deliver invoices and upload billing materials to customer portals.
- Prepare monthly billing reconciliations, metrics, and support for month-end close and audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or 2 years of relevant experience.
- Microsoft Excel experience.
- Strong detail orientation and analytical skills.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Fluent English verbal and written skills.
Desired Skills:
- Prior invoicing or billing experience.
