Billing Analyst 1

A media company is seeking a Billing Analyst 1 in Nashville, Tennessee. This role supports core billing operations, invoice processing, reconciliations, and related accounting activities in a hybrid environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 5pm
• Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Complete billing processes in boundary systems and interface data to the ERP system.
• Generate timely invoices and adjustments while ensuring proper approvals.
• Follow up with requestors to gather missing information and resolve billing issues.
• Deliver invoices and upload billing materials to customer portals.
• Prepare monthly billing reconciliations, metrics, and support for month-end close and audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Microsoft Excel experience.
• Strong detail orientation and analytical skills.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Fluent English verbal and written skills.

Desired Skills:

• Prior invoicing or billing experience.
• Experience with accounting and accounts receivable systems.
• Oracle experience.
• General knowledge of accounting principles.
