Summary



Freeman is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Billing Analyst to manage storage billing processes across four locations. This role involves manual billing activities, extensive cross-functional communication, and handling a high volume of change requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.


This position will support our Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2 days per week. This position is based out of North Dallas, TX.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities



+ Prepare and process storage invoices for four locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

+ Manage and respond to a high volume of change requests through the Samanage ticketing system.

+ Coordinate with Account Managers, Warehouse Managers, and Accounts Receivable to resolve billing discrepancies and clarify billing details.

+ Process credit memo requests in accordance with the established credit matrix approval process.

+ Confirm and document new clients, property disposals, property transfers, and client move-outs, ensuring that billing adjustments are processed accurately.

+ Maintain detailed records of billing activities and communications.

+ Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and operational needs.

+ Ensure all billing data is accurate and complete within Google Sheets and other relevant systems.

+ Support process improvements to streamline manual billing procedures.

+ Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.


Education & Experience



Required


+ Proven experience in billing, accounting, or finance operations, preferably in a multi-location environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to interactions.

+ Ability to handle a high volume of requests and prioritize effectively.

+ Ability to commute to the office two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and work effectively in a hybrid environment.

+ Adaptability to changing priorities and a positive, professional demeanor.


Preferred


+ Experience with Google Sheets.

+ Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

+ Familiarity with ticketing systems, particularly Samanage.
