Billing Assistant

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AR/Billing Assistant in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation
• Prepare and submit invoices to government clients in compliance with contract terms and government regulations
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
• Maintain accurate records of all billing and collections activities
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
• Generate and analyze AR aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate action
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to AR and billing
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government contracting requirements
• Provide excellent customer service to government clients and address any billing inquiries
