Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing / Bookkeeping Clerk to join our real estate company. This onsite position is responsible for managing billing activities, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the accounting and property management teams with daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices for tenants, clients, and vendors.
  • Record daily financial transactions, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
  • Assist with rent collection tracking and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain tenant billing records and lease-related financial documentation.
  • Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for management.
  • File and organize invoices, contracts, receipts, and accounting documents.
  • Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and tenants regarding billing inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, billing, accounting, or administrative support preferred.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • QuickBooks or accounting software
    • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
