    Job Title: Billing Clerk
    Schedule: M-F, mornings preferred, 20 hours/week
     
    Job Summary Provide financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of customer orders for the company and supporting operations.
     
    Essential Duties – other duties may be assigned
    • Monitor assigned email inbox
    • Perform three-way match for verification of delivered products and BOLs
    • Create Sales Orders in Company ERP
    • Communicate with chemical delivery drivers and facilities staff to research discrepancies
    • Work closely with Accounts Receivable staff
    • Create monthly delivery sheets for chemical delivery drivers in MS Excel
    • Communicate with Account Management staff on needed changes and updates to delivery routes
    • Maintain and update data in MS Excel workbooks 
    • Ensure compliance of proper accounting methods, approval processes, internal controls, and company procedures
    • Organize, file, copy, and maintain documents, including safety training records, compliance files, chemical labels, and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
    • Positive contributor to the team by supporting and executing ad hoc projects as needed
    • Work well independently and as a team
    • Provide excellent customer service
     
    Qualifications
    Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required
    Driving Requirements: None
     
    Physical Requirements – Must be able to talk and hear. Requires close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures and view a computer screen. Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. The position is mostly sedentary, involving sitting most of the time.
     
    Work Environment – Indoor office setting, with shop and yard onsite. Noise level is typically quiet.
     
    Communication Skills – Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as providing excellent customer service. Bi-lingual is beneficial.
     
    Cognitive Skills – Must be able to focus for long periods of time. Ability to comprehend financial data, details, problem solve and ensure consistency and accuracy in all work products. Apply critical thinking skills by conceptualizing, analyzing, and evaluating information.
     
    Computer Skills – Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, and electronic timesheets. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.). Experience in accounting software preferred.
     
    Work Ethic – Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your own actions. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
