Key Responsibilities of the Billing Clerk
Generate, review, and process invoices for clients and vendors
Verify billing data, rates, and supporting documentation
Research and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain organized records of billing transactions and payments
Communicate with internal departments and customers regarding billing inquiries
Assist with month-end reporting and audit preparation related to billing
Qualifications for the Billing Clerk
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
1–2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or administrative support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing or accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
