My client, a top-rated global residential architectural/design firm with a high-end clientele, is seeking a Billing & Collection Specialist to join their team. The salary is up to $70,000 depending on experience. This position is 30 hours a week and is on-site with free parking attached to the building. Overview of the Billing & Collection Specialist:

• Manage the full monthly billing cycle for all projects, including preparing client invoices, payment reports, billing reports, and receipts; processing client payments and refunds; preparing bank deposits; and issuing zero-balance invoices.
• 
  
• Oversee financial reconciliation and reporting, including reconciling Amex and Visa credit card statements, purchasing account bank statements, and outstanding checks, while maintaining monthly Profit & Fee reports and providing timely reporting to management.
• 
  
• Monitor accounts receivable, cash flow, and client-related expenses, including tracking advanced client costs, reimbursable expenses, and audit reports, while coordinating monthly financial processes with the Business Manager, management team, business office, and external accountants.
• 
  
• Maintain banking and compliance, including managing weekly check register uploads to the bank’s positive pay system, ensuring sales tax compliance in partnership with the accounting firm, and coordinating annual 1099 reporting.

• Support client onboarding and ongoing account administration, including onboarding new clients upon contract execution.
• 
  
• Act as back up for purchasing and admin.

• Must have billing and collection experience and can work on-site downtown for 30 hours a week.

• Ability to demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills when working with affluent clientele.
