Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 DOE

A respected well drilling contractor serving agricultural, industrial, and energy clients throughout the Bakersfield area is adding a Billing Coordinator to its team. This company plays an essential role in supporting water infrastructure projects and takes pride in delivering reliable service to both local businesses and large corporate customers.

This position is critical to ensuring work performed in the field is accurately documented, invoiced, and submitted through customer billing systems. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a blend of accounting, administrative support, and customer coordination in a stable industry.

The Opportunity

As project activity continues to grow, the company is looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage the billing process from start to finish. You'll work closely with field crews, customers, and management to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time. This role offers ownership of a key business function while providing exposure to both operations and accounting.

What You'll Do

• Process field tickets and enter job information into QuickBooks to generate customer invoices
• Review billing documentation and coordinate customer approval requirements when necessary
• Submit invoices through online vendor and procurement platforms, including systems such as iSupplier and Purchasing 360
• Maintain accurate billing records and monitor invoice status to support timely payment collections
• Coordinate with customers, field personnel, and management to resolve billing questions and discrepancies

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting support, or administrative experience
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in construction, contractor services, oil & gas, agriculture, or a related industry is preferred
