Are you an experienced Legal Billing Coordinator looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our growing team. This role is critical to our firm's operations and success, as you will be responsible for all aspects of client billing. This encompasses generating invoices, processing pre-bills, and managing accounts receivable. We value precision, efficiency, and a commitment to client service. Responsibilities:
As a Legal Billing Coordinator, your primary duties will include:
1. Generating and submitting invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Processing pre-bills, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
3. Managing accounts receivable, following up on outstanding invoices and resolving any discrepancies.
4. Collaborating with attorneys and other staff to ensure billing procedures are followed and client needs are met.
5. Maintaining comprehensive records of all billing activities.
6. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in billing operations.
7. Assisting with other financial tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in law firm billing or a similar role.
2. Proven experience with billing platforms, e-billing.
3. Proficiency in invoicing and accounts receivable management.
4. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
5. Strong numerical skills and the ability to work with complex billing systems.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
7. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. A strong understanding of legal billing procedures and regulations.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with legal billing software.
