Goldberg Segalla has an immediate opportunity for a Billing Process Intern in its Buffalo office.

Position Summary This role involves supporting various administrative and billing functions within the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Working on special projects based off workflow need
  • Helping with overflow of the Billing Process Team
  • Adding Matters into ebilling sites
  • Checking Timekeepers in ebilling sites
  • Special assignments to cover staff when they are on leave or out of the office
  • Perform other administrative tasks such as filing, sorting, scanning, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
  • Sophomore or Junior academic standing preferred
  • Exceptional attitude and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Schedule:
  • The position has the opportunity for up to 20 hours during the semester and 30 hours during academic breaks

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE:        
  • Regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in English
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to use math/calculations
  • Regularly required to observe and assess data and documents, in printed form and on computer screens
  • May be requested to work beyond normal work hours and weekends for special projects
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Regularly required to observe and assess data and documents, in printed form and on computer screens
  • Repetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writing
  • Ability to work independently within general guidelines and minimal supervision
  • Ability to recognize the need for confidentiality of information and to maintain such confidences
  • Ability to respond to internal or external inquiries, including those of a sensitive, confidential, or adversarial nature

Benefits:
The hourly compensation for this position is $16.00.  Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
