Responsible for reviewing insurance/government authorizations, claims and submitting claims to payers for processing. Follows up on all accounts for payment, processes contract adjustments and bills secondary payers. Follows established pathways and procedures for all operations. Accountable for the utilization of multiple office systems.
Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
Work Experience
Minimum one (1) year Experience in either obtaining medical insurance/government authorization or medical insurance/government billing (required)
Registration experience in physician practice, clinic/hospital care setting (preferred)
