Billing Representative- FTWe are in need of a motivated, hard-working team player who is a quick learner and can work independently behind the scenes. The Billing Representative is responsible for ensuring compliance with TEAMCare's billing and collections policies and procedures, timely and accurate invoicing, as well as inputting and monitoring documents, transactions and records impacting the Accounts Receivable system.Major Duties and Responsibilities include:Ensuring health providers are paid for medical services renderedPayment postingReviewing patient medical recordsCoordinating reimbursement activities with payersBilling patients for medical servicesVerifying medical insurance Utilizing EMR software/clearinghouse to perform medical billing and coding functionsCreating and submitting disputes, reconsiderations, investigations, and appeals to insurance carriersMay be handling claims, collections, reimbursements, transfers, and insurance fraud issues in writing and over the phone directly with carriers and patientsQualificationsPrevious medical billing experience preferredExcellent organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills and exceptional detail orientation.Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applicationsAct 33 Clearance, Act 34 Clearance, and FBI ClearanceTEAMCare is an equal opportunity employer and does not make hiring decisions based on age, race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
