LHH has partnered with a distribution company in Addison, TX, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join their team. This position is responsible for creating and auditing invoices, reviewing carrier information, exporting and analyzing data in Excel, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong billing experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Review carrier information to create and match invoices accurately.
Audit invoices to ensure correct pricing, rates, and contract terms.
Export billing and transportation data from internal trucking systems into Excel for analysis and reporting.
Generate, process, and distribute invoices via mail and electronic delivery methods.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
Provide professional customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders.
Assist with payment posting and cash application activities as needed.
Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation.
Support general office and administrative functions as assigned.
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely invoice processing.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable experience.
Experience creating and processing high-volume invoices.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including exporting and managing data.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
