Join Our Team!
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, experienced Billing Specialist to join our established healthcare practice in person at our office in Bedford Heights, OH. If you have experience with Ohio Workers' Compensation (BWC) and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) billing and enjoy solving billing challenges, we'd love to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive team where your work directly impacts patient care and the success of the practice. Must have medical billing experience, strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask and work independently, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills

What You'll Do

Process and manage Ohio Workers' Compensation and MVA claims
Audit provider and therapist documentation in Eclipse EMR before submitting claims
Request and track documentation corrections when needed
Submit electronic claims and upload daily billing
Post insurance and patient payments accurately
Enter new patient information into Eclipse EMR
Review and resolve denied or rejected claims from BWC, MCOs, insurance carriers, and clearinghouses
Correct billing errors and resubmit claims promptly
Manage Workers' Compensation accounts receivable
Open and process daily mail and faxes
Prepare daily payment reports
Maintain accurate billing records while ensuring compliance with payer requirements

What We're Looking For

Previous medical billing experience required
Experience with Ohio Workers' Compensation billing strongly preferred
MVA billing experience is a plus
Eclipse EMR experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
In person only (not a remote position)
