Max Pay Rate: $19.50/hr on W2
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overview
We are seeking a Billing Specialist to support billing and operations within a fast-paced logistics/transportation environment. This role focuses on reviewing freight bills, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely billing to customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze carrier freight bills for accuracy and discrepancies
- Identify and resolve billing errors, duplicate charges, and open issues
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve billing-related concerns
- Coordinate with transportation providers to obtain required documentation
- Support timely and accurate customer billing processes
- Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, audit, or logistics/transportation operations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
- Experience in transportation or freight billing environments
- Familiarity with billing cycles, documentation, and process improvement
