Required Education:High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:3+ years of Accounts Payable experience gained through employment with the responsibility of preparing and processing financial transactions, including specific payment or cash receipt functionsPrevious experience working in an office environmentWorking knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and auditing processes Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, and other financial software tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Ability to interpret policies and apply them accurately to financial operations Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholdersPreferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:State/Gov experience in Accounts PayableBilling Specialist Job Responsibilities:Review, pre-audit, and post-audit financial documents, including purchase orders, vendor payments, reimbursements, and adjustment vouchers Verify financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures Process financial data within integrated financial systems, ensuring proper documentation and coding Identify and resolve discrepancies by preparing corrections or adjustment entries as needed Assign and track document identifiers to ensure accurate system entry and recordkeeping Analyze business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance Provide guidance and technical support to staff on financial procedures and documentation requirements Serve as a liaison between internal departments, vendors, and external agencies Maintain accurate financial records using spreadsheets, databases, and financial software Support both electronic and manual processing of financial transactions **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
