Raleigh, NC Area
Pay: $31-$33/hour
Alphanumeric is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our growing team in the Raleigh, NC area. If you have a strong background in billing operations, revenue recognition, ERP systems, and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Prepare, review, and issue accurate client invoices on time
- Verify billing information against contracts, purchase orders, and pricing agreements
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
- Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end billing close activities
- Set up new projects and employee records within the ERP system
- Perform monthly revenue recognition activities
- Support accounts receivable processes and other finance initiatives as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related billing experience OR Associate's degree with 7+ years of related experience
- Experience with Fixed-Fee Billing and Timesheet-Based Billing (required)
- Experience with revenue recognition
- Previous Billing Manager experience is a plus
- NetSuite ERP experience strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset
