Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:

• 
  
• Manage authorizations, including monitoring statuses, tracking expirations, initiate re-authorizations, and contacting insurance agencies
• 
  
• The Billing Specialist will manage census reports and follow up with insurance companies as needed
• 
  
• The Billing Specialist is responsible for all patient statements
• 
  
• Perform customer service functions using excellent communication skills
• 
  

Preferred Experience of the Billing Specialist:

• 
  
• Prior billing experience is required
• 
  
• Exposure to revenue cycle
• 
  
• The Billing Specialist should be familiar with Massachusetts insurances, eligibility, etc.
• 
  

Salary: $52,000-63,000
