Responsibilities Provide revenue cycle support to Beacon clients, team members and firm employeesComplete duties associated with being an outsourced billing service provider including charge entry, payment posting, claims submission and follow‑up, coding and auditingAssist with cash recovery projects, including project productivity monitoringAssist with diagnostic reviews of revenue cycles to determine opportunities for best practice performanceAssist with preparation of written reportsIdentify opportunities to improve services to individual clients and develop suggestions for adjustment of services as appropriateQualifications Minimum of an associate's degreeAt least three years of billing experience in a physician, hospital or nursing home environmentSolid understanding of revenue cycle processesMust be willing to travel within New York; overnight travel occasionally requiredPreferred Qualifications Skilled nursing or private pay billing experienceBilling certificationFamiliarity with ePACES and FISS DDESalary and Hours Hourly rate: $21.00 to $26.00, commensurate with experienceHours of operation: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday (based on client needs and project manager approval)EEO Statement EOE/AA Disability/Veteran#J-18808-Ljbffr
