Medical Billing Specialist - Medicare & Medicaid (Temp-to-Hire)
Full-Time | Onsite | Monday-Friday
A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-cycle Medicare and Medicaid billing, from claim submission through resolution
Research accounts receivable and denied claims
Investigate billing discrepancies and work directly with payers for resolution
Review EOBs, identify issues, and ensure accurate reimbursement
Submit corrected claims and file appeals as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate account documentation
Communicate professionally with payers, patients, and internal team members
Qualifications:
2+ years of medical billing experience required
Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing processes
Experience with claims follow-up, denials, and collections research
Strong communication skills

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
