EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is seeking a qualified Billing Supervisor to support the firm's accounting and project financial operations. This position will oversee day-to-day billing activities across a diverse portfolio of engineering and professional services projects, ensuring accurate, timely, and contract-compliant invoicing while supporting overall project financial performance and cash flow management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Billing Supervisor, you will:

  • Prepare, review, and submit accurate invoices across a variety of contract types, including time-and-materials, lump sum, and cost-plus agreements
  • Ensure billing accuracy, contract compliance, and timely invoice processing in accordance with client requirements and deadlines
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on project setup, budgets, contract terms, revenue tracking, and billing requirements
  • Monitor unbilled balances, billing status, accounts receivable support, and overall project financial performance
  • Maintain organized billing documentation and support audit readiness and client compliance requirements
  • Assist with administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of billing systems, workflows, and processes
  • Supervise, train, and mentor billing staff while fostering a collaborative and detail-oriented team environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 4 years of billing experience in an A/E/C or professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
  • Experience with cost-plus, time-and-materials, and government-related contracts preferred
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint
  • Strong understanding of project accounting principles and indirect cost structures
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Familiarity with DCAA, DOT, or public-sector billing requirements
  • Experience supporting audit preparation and contract compliance reviews
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
