What You’ll Work On
2D/3D Production: Build highly accurate 2D plans, sections, and elevations, and develop coordinated 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
From Idea to Issued: Convert rough sketches, engineering notes, and redlines into fully detailed drawing packages ready for construction.
Daily Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify design intent for commercial aquatic and water-feature projects.
Quality & Compliance: Validate dimensions, materials, and tolerances; align with structural, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements.
Standards & Templates: Maintain consistent layers, line weights, annotations, styles, and sheet sets across all files.
Revisions: Update drawings quickly to reflect approved client or field changes and track those updates.
Digital Libraries: Organize and archive models and sheets within BIM, PLM, and internal file-sharing repositories.
What You Bring
Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or MicroStation.
3D Visualization: Strong spatial reasoning to translate complex 3D forms into precise 2D documentation.
Code Knowledge: Working fluency with drafting standards and applicable ASME/ANSI/local building codes.
Math & GD&T: Accurate geometric calculations, dimensioning, and GD&T fundamentals.
