Overview:
We’re looking for a strong Electrical BIM professional who’s ready to step into a Lead role. Someone who can take ownership of coordination, guide a team, and drive real project impact.
This is a hands-on role. You won’t just be reviewing models, you’ll be in them, solving problems, working through coordination challenges, and helping elevate the people around you.
Job Summary:
As a Lead at BIMTM, you’ll oversee project execution from a modeling and coordination standpoint within your discipline, ensuring model accuracy, resolving complex coordination issues, and managing clients communication. You will lead project teams and own technical delivery, including clash management, submittal review, issue resolution, and schedule alignment. This role serves as the bridge between our internal team and external partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead BIM coordination efforts for electrical systems across multiple projects
- Develop, manage, and maintain Revit models and coordinated drawings
- Participate in coordination meetings and help drive solutions with internal teams and clients
- Support and mentor BIM Specialists and Technicians
- Work through constructability challenges and help improve project outcomes
- Contribute to internal standards, workflows, and best practices

What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in electrical BIM/VDC (typically 4–8+ years)
- Experience leading, mentoring, or ready to step into a leadership role
- Proficiency in Revit and coordination workflows
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients
- Strong problem-solving mindset and sense of ownership
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management) preferred; Associate degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination for large-scale commercial construction.
- Demonstrated leadership of MEP coordination efforts from preconstruction to fabrication and install.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360.
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and MEP systems.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, schedule management, and detail orientation.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Bonus: Evolve MEP experience, experience with laser scanning or total stations.
