BIM Model Manager - Digital Delivery Specialist - (194132)In the role of BIM Model Manager - Digital Delivery Specialist , we'll count on you to:Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire projectHave an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are producedWork directly with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), while managing the deliverables outlined withinBegin the project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scopeExecute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projectsProvide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project teamMaintain quality, this individual will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase thru issue of construction documentsExecute these tasks with minimal oversight by the Digital Delivery Leads and provide guidance to project team membersDevelop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP)Establish the document management system and maintain the server infrastructure for multi-discipline projectsIdentify the appropriate software, versions, and provide access needed to execute the project requirementsProvide project specific training and project specific training to project team members.Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirementsMonitor and maintain company standards and model healthHost Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processesCommunicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestonesProject archiving at submittals and closeoutEngage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clientsPreferred Qualifications Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 3 years digital delivery (model management) experienceComprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systemsAdvanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolsAdvanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsFamiliar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsFamiliar with basic automation and programming applications for efficienciesFamiliar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applicationsFamiliar with content creation and management conceptsSuperior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essentialDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical supportAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a mustRequired Qualifications Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experienceTechnically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructureCompetency of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsExperience with 3D Coordination toolsExcellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essentialIntermediate understanding of engineering or architectural conceptsAt HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.We consider all qualified applicants, regardless of criminal histories, arrest and conviction records.#J-18808-Ljbffr
