OverviewAs BIM Model Manager at HDR, you will manage the digital model environment and deliverables for a multi‑discipline project, ensuring model quality, coordination, and timely production.ResponsibilitiesManage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire project.Understand how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced.Work directly with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and manage the deliverables within it.Establish server infrastructure, discipline models and digital deliverables at project initiation.Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the project lifecycle.Provide technical support and communicate the deliverable schedule to the project team.Monitor model health and coordination processes, and maintain quality from planning through construction documents.Lead Digital Delivery coordination meetings and design review sessions.Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestones.Archive the model at submittals and closeout.Engage in effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients.Preferred QualificationsExperience developing and using automation software products and procedures for design.Experience in development and management of diverse teams.Preference given to local candidates.Required QualificationsTechnical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.Minimum 5 years digital design (BIM authoring) and 3 years digital delivery (model management) experience.Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and building system operations.Advanced skills in 3D design software and document management infrastructure.Advanced skills in 3D coordination tools.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and communication tools.Familiar with industry standards, discipline codes and specifications.Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies.Familiar with 3D design software add‑ins and supporting applications.Familiar with content creation and management concepts.Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to serve as a first line of technical support.LocationSaint Louis Park, Minnesota, United StatesEmployment TypeFull‑time, RegularEEO StatementAt HDR, we are committed to employment equity.
