BIM Modelin6 Engineer

Title: BIM Modeling Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract to Hire or Extensions
Rate Range: Market Rate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) required.
• 2-5 years of related experience drafting one or more of the following systems:
• Data/Voice structured cabling systems, audiovisual presentation and conferencing systems, wireless systems including Wi-Fi, public safety distribution systems, access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance systems.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks required.
• Revizto experience is a plus.
• Effective visual/verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates should possess a proficient understanding of inter-relationships among design/engineering disciplines, clients, and constructors.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple project assignments to meet competing deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting to support projects and assignments in various phases.
• Ability to provide support to local projects, as well as assisting team members in other projects across the company.
• Availability to occasionally travel for projects.
• This position is for a BIM Modeler and requires Drafting. This is not a BIM Coordinator Role.

• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience as an BIM Molder with Telecommunication or Electrical systems
• Fluent in Autodesk CAD (computer-aided drafting & design) programs including Revit, NavisWorks, AutoCAD.
