Job Title: BIM / VDC Digital Delivery SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Delivery Leader / BIM Specialist to lead our digital model environment and deliverables at the project level. You will collaborate with project managers and other team members to maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and ensure the seamless execution of digital deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level.
• Work directly with the Project Manager to assist in generating and maintaining the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure.
• Establish and maintain server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables as outlined in the project scope.
• Provide technical support and communicate the deliverable schedule to the project team.
• Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning through the issuance of construction documents.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members, while executing tasks autonomously.
• Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
• Establish and maintain document management systems and server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects.
• Ensure team access to appropriate software, versions, and training needed to execute project requirements.
• Generate and maintain model setup, including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, and other requirements.
• Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings to ensure quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables at predetermined milestones.
• Handle project archiving at submittals and closeout.
• Engage in effective communication and presentations with management, production staff, and clients.
• Mentor staff and provide guidance for Project Managers to support project needs.
• Engage with other Digital Delivery Leads to provide support and guidance.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of discipline relations and operations of building systems.
• Advanced skillset in 3D design software, document management infrastructure, and 3D Coordination tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards, discipline codes, and specifications.
• Knowledge of basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies.
• Familiarity with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications.
• Experience in content creation and management concepts.
• Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and leadership traits.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize technical support requests and project work.
• Must be enthusiastic, energetic, and possess an excellent work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Work Environment

The position offers flexibility with a hybrid work model, allowing you to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with locations available in Raleigh, Charlotte, or Atlanta, NC being preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
