Job Description
The BIM/VDC Coordinator will support the development and delivery of model-based solutions for large-scale data center programs.
This position works with engineering and project teams to translate product and design information into coordinated digital deliverables. The work includes Revit content development, MCAD-to-BIM coordination, model review, Autodesk Construction Cloud administration, and the development of standards and workflows that can be used consistently across projects.
This is a good opportunity for someone with a foundation in BIM or VDC who wants broader exposure to engineering, product-based design, and complex project delivery.
Primary Responsibilities
Planning, tracking, and performing quality reviews of BIM/VDC deliverables
Creating and maintaining Revit families, structured parameters, schedules, interface models, and reusable content
Translating engineering and product information into coordinated BIM deliverables
Supporting the exchange of design information between MCAD and BIM platforms
Maintaining project environments, model structures, and issue workflows in Autodesk Construction Cloud
Reviewing models for completeness, data quality, interface requirements, and downstream use
Coordinating with engineering teams, vendors, A/E partners, VDC teams, construction teams, and owner representatives
Maintaining project templates, trackers, standards, and documented workflows
Helping improve the consistency and quality of digital deliverables across projects
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, design technology, or a related field
At least two years of professional experience in BIM, VDC, design technology, or model-based project delivery
Desired Qualifications
Proficiency in Revit, including families, parameters, schedules, and model organization
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud
Experience with Navisworks or similar model-coordination software
Experience reviewing models for quality, completeness, and coordination
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product information, and construction documents
Familiarity with MCAD-to-BIM workflows
Experience with configurable products, modular systems, or product-based design
Knowledge of BIM/VDC standards and digital delivery practices
Experience coordinating work across engineering, A/E, construction, vendor, and owner teams
Experience supporting data centers, mission-critical facilities, or other complex capital programs
Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
Ability to manage priorities and assigned deliverables with limited day-to-day oversight
Interest in improving how digital design information is organized and used across projects
Candidates are not expected to have experience in every area listed above. We are interested in individuals who bring a strong BIM/VDC foundation and want to develop their knowledge of product-based design and large-scale infrastructure delivery.

Compensation
Kunz is hiring for both BIM/VDC Coordinator I and BIM/VDC Coordinator II positions. The level offered will be based on the candidate’s experience and technical background.
The anticipated base salary range for the positions covered by this posting is $70,000 to $115,000 annually. Individual compensation will be based on position level, work location, relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.
Employees may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
