Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma plus bindery trade school training/diploma
One year of trade bindery work experience
Bindery trade certification(s)
Knowledge of chain-of-custody (CoC) processes and procedures, specific to the correct procedures for segregation and identification of both raw materials and finished product
Knowledge of set-up and operational knowledge of all equipment
Knowledge of basic mailing regulations
Publix and Printing Services job and code numbering systems
Knowledge of shipping and distribution
Shop Floor Data Collection, via Monarch Data Collection (thin net) Terminals
Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Knowledge of general Publix and Printing/Mailing Services’ policies and procedures (attendance/punctuality, plant security, safety, etc.),
General printing knowledge, particularly with regard to the principles of binding and finishing and the ability to recognize problems that could adversely affect the quality of the finished product
