Bindery General Labor - 1st Shift

Auburn Hills manufacturer seeking a General Laborer for their bindery department. This position requires you to assist current bindery staff in the areas of binder folding, saddle stitching, perfect binding, shrink wrapping, carton packing and other duties as assigned by supervisor. 1st shift 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Competitive pay $16 an hour!  All candidates must submit a complete updated resume to be considered.  Must have previous manufacturing experience, and excellent attendance required.

Responsibilities:  Lifting small 12 x 10 x 10 boxes of books and putting them on a pallet. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. (usually 20 to 30 lbs.) up to 10-50 times a day depending on the task.• Standing All Day • Team Oriented • Attention to detail • Work well with others• Good communication skills• Follow directions for each task**Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS*HS Diploma or equivalent.* Previous manufacturing experience.
