Bindery General Labor - 1st Shift

Our client, a book bindery and manufacturer in Auburn Hills, is seeking a general laborer for their bindery department. This is a full-time position with the potential to turn into a direct role.  1st Shift, $16 per hour.  All candidates must submit a complete, up-to-date resume to be considered.  No experience necessary, training will be provided.  Must have excellent attendance and be a team player. Apply Now or Call Qualified Staffing Lapeer at (810) 664-0573 Position Overview This position requires you to assist current bindery staff in the areas of binder folding, saddle stitching, perfect binding, shrink wrapping, carton packing and other duties as assigned by supervisor. General Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. Lifting small 12 x 10 x 10 boxes of books and putting them on a pallet.
2. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. (usually 20 to 30 lbs.) up to 10-50 times a day depending on the task
3. This is a standing position

7. Good communication skills
8. Follows direction for each task
