Bindery Operator - 2Nd & 3Rd Shift Opportunities

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and interested in learning a skilled trade? Join Baesman Group as a Bindery Operator and help create high-quality printed products for leading national retailers, universities, hospitality organizations, and Fortune 500 companies.

As a Bindery Operator, you will set up and operate equipment that puts the finishing touches on our clients’ work. Depending on the job, you may cut, fold, die cut, saddle stitch, drill, pad, or score printed materials.

Previous bindery experience is helpful, but it is not required. If you have mechanical aptitude, enjoy hands-on work, and are willing to learn, we will provide on-the-job training to help you develop your skills.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate bindery and finishing equipment.
• Follow job tickets and production specifications to complete each project accurately.
• Inspect products throughout the process to ensure quality.
• Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic production issues.
• Work toward established safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Partner with team members to keep jobs moving and meet client deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning how equipment works.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow written instructions, measurements, and job specifications.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and standard and metric measurements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
• Previous bindery, machine-operation, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
