Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, and stitchers.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Assist in inventory management of supplies and materials.
  • Train new staff on bindery operations and best practices.
  • Adhere to production schedules and communicate any delays promptly.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  •  Previous bindery or print production experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to operate machinery and handle physical tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods 
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills .
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with bindery processes and equipment is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

 Preferred Skills:

 Experience with Polar cutters, MBO folders.
 Knowledge of paper stocks, grain direction, and finishing techniques
