JOB TITLE: Bio Compatibility Project Manager
LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: 12 months with potential extension
PAY RANGE: $44 - $54/hr.

Summary:
Biocompatibility PM is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management, and have worked in a collaborative cross-functional, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include engaging with cross-functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during the product development process, clear communication with peers and SMEs, and helping build processes and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Partner with cross-functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and coordinate testing throughout the product development process
- Good understanding of analytical testing methods (HPLC, ICPMS, LC/MS, Client/MS) and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review.
- Partner with cross-functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and coordinate testing throughout the product development process.
- Clear and effective communication (including presentations, document traceability etc.) of Biocompatibility goals and findings with cross-functional team and leadership.
- Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessments, and set up a process to track and communicate efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment.
- Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross-functional teams towards building workflows, processes, and SOP s.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of project management in a corporate setting.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully and ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively.
- Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry
- Basic understanding of analytical testing methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Be a team player. Have strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside of the box.
Must Have:
- Must have STRONG program management, clear communication, and consumer electronics experience
- Must have experience with biocompatibility and customer safety
- Must have a science and engineering background (Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, or related fields)
- Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in the consumer electronics industry
- Good understanding of program development checkpoints.
