JOB TITLE: Bio Compatibility Project Manager
LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: 12 months with potential extension
PAY RANGE: $44 - $54/hr.

Company:
Our client is a Fortune 500 multinational technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA.

Summary:
Biocompatibility PM is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management, and have worked in a collaborative cross-functional, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include engaging with cross-functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during the product development process, clear communication with peers and SMEs, and helping build processes and specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with cross-functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and coordinate testing throughout the product development process
  • Good understanding of analytical testing methods (HPLC, ICPMS, LC/MS, Client/MS) and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review.
  • Partner with cross-functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and coordinate testing throughout the product development process.
  • Clear and effective communication (including presentations, document traceability etc.) of Biocompatibility goals and findings with cross-functional team and leadership.
  • Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessments, and set up a process to track and communicate efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross-functional teams towards building workflows, processes, and SOP s.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of project management in a corporate setting.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully and ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively.
  • Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry
  • Basic understanding of analytical testing methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Be a team player. Have strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside of the box.

Must Have:
  • Must have STRONG program management, clear communication, and consumer electronics experience
  • Must have experience with biocompatibility and customer safety
  • Must have a science and engineering background (Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, or related fields)
  • Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines

Nice to Have:
  • Experience working in the consumer electronics industry
  • Good understanding of program development checkpoints.

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated. In addition to base compensation, full-time roles are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Commuter and 401K benefits with company matching.
