    The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Neurology, would like to hire a qualified Biobank Supervisor (Clinical Research Coordinator).

    Directs the day-to-day operations of the biobank, ensuring adherence to best practices in biospecimen collection, processing, storage, and utilization of inventory management systems.

    • Oversees patient consent processes and documentation, ensuring compliance with IRB protocols, regulatory requirements, and grant-specific guidelines; trains, supervises, and coordinates staff involved in biospecimen collection and handling.
    • Manages data and sample workflows, including organization, protocol development, quality control, and preliminary analysis of biospecimen data and sample integrity.
    • Supervises project budget and supports grant related submissions, while ensuring full compliance with institutional, federal, and sponsor-related requirements.

    Masters Preferred, Bachelor's Degree acceptable with 2 years clinical research or laboratory experience.
