Job Description:
Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager I is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, biocompatibility, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management, and have worked in a collaborative, cross-functional, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, engaging with cross-functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during the product development process, clear communication to peers and SME's, and helping build processes and specifications.

Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager I will need the following skillsets:
  • Good understanding of analytical testing methods (HPLC, ICPMS, LC/MS, Client/MS) and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Partner with cross-functional team members and suppliers to drive the selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and testing throughout the product development process
  • Clear and effective communication (including presentations, document traceability, etc.) of Biocompatibility goals and findings with the cross-functional team and leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review
  • Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessment, and set up a process to track and communicate efficiently
  • Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment
  • Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross-functional teams towards building workflows, processes, and SOP s

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 2+ years of project management in a corporate setting
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully and ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively
  • Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Be a team player. Have strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside of the box

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the consumer electronics industry
  • Nice to have a good understanding of program development checkpoints

Must Have Skills:
  • Must have STRONG program management, clear communication, and consumer electronics experience
  • Must have experience with biocomp and customer safety
  • Must have a science and engineering background (Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, or related fields)
  • Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
