We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionJob title: Sr Scientist II, Biomedical InformaticsLocation: Cambridge, MA Duration: 14+ months (Possibly of extension) JOB ROLE· This position will be part of the informatics team within the Value Based Medicine group at Client.· As part of the team s/he will be responsible for the development and management of a unique, multi-center, large-scale ongoing real world data set comprising EHR, imaging, genetic and sensor- based data in multiple sclerosis.· Primary responsibilities of this position include:Developing and managing the content curation pipeline for the individual data types (EHR, imaging, genetic, and sensor-based)Curation of data setsPublication of versioned data sets for research useCreating, maintaining and publishing documentation related to the aboveLiaising with the information technology groups to enhance and further develop the data collection, management and distribution infrastructureSupporting ad hoc requests for data mining and analysis to aid hypothesis generation for network participantsCreation, analysis and reporting of targeted data sets on an ad hoc basis for operational purposes and to monitor the participant networkConducting directed research in the areas of learning healthcare systems, data privacy, and biomedical informatics.QUALIFICATIONS· Deep expertise in several of the following: Bash, HTML5, PERL, Python (required) and R (required)· Proficiency with several of the following: distributed and high performance computing, data visualization, data engineering, pipelining and wrangling tools (Tableau experience required)· Experience in bioinformatics, medical informatics, clinical informatics, imaging informatics or other forms of informatics highly desired· Working knowledge of and experience with data management approaches e.g. relational databases, object stores, column stores, triple stores, graph stores, document stores desired· Experience working in cross-functional groups at the intersection of data analytics and computational technologies desiredEDUCATION· BA/BSc required, MS or PhD preferredAdditional InformationWe do have referral bonus of $500 per candidate, if you refer any of your friends or colleague who are looking out for the same job.
