Job Description

The Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at the University of Florida invites applications from a skilled, detail-oriented research scientist to contribute to work that shapes how we understand and treat human disease. Based on UF's main campus in Gainesville, this is an opportunity to embed yourself in a research environment where rigorous science and meaningful outcomes go hand in hand.A summary of the position role is to execute and coordinate multiple research experiments investigating non-opioid drugs for chronic neuropathic pain. This is an intermediate-level position responsible for applying standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the biological field and for modifying and implementing established research methods to study biological processes. Is expected to work with a degree of independence but seeks guidance from the Principal Investigator for complex issues.
