Job Title : Biologist I/II – Discovery Biotherapeutics
Location: Worcester, MA (100 Research Dr. – Onsite)
Pay Rate: Biologist I: $33/hr  and Biologist II: $35-41/hr
Duration: 12 Months (High Possibility of Extension)

Job Description

Seeking a Biologist I/II to support biologics drug discovery and multispecific antibody engineering programs. This role focuses on protein expression, purification, remediation, and analytical characterization of complex biologics to support discovery research activities.

  • Express, purify, and remediate multispecific biologics, antibodies, and antibody fragments
  • Perform protein purification using chromatography techniques and AKTA platforms
  • Characterize proteins using SEC, LC-MS, DSF, SDS-PAGE, and endotoxin assays
  • Perform analytical testing and protein quality assessments to support biologics discovery programs
  • Execute purification workflows including SEC, HIC, and IEX chromatography
  • Support antibody engineering, design, and optimization activities
  • Utilize sequence analysis software to support biologics development workflows
  • Manage sample preparation, aliquoting, tracking, and cross-functional sample transfers
  • Support automated biologics workflows using laboratory automation platforms
  • Maintain electronic laboratory records and generate experimental reports
  • Coordinate multiple research requests to ensure timely delivery of biologic materials

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field
  • Biologist I: 1–2 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience with BS degree
  • Biologist II: 3+ years of relevant biologics research experience or equivalent technical expertise
