Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Biomedical Imaging Specialist II or III in Philadelphia, PA to work for an innovative and growing Healthcare Network.

The Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM), calibration, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of biomedical and imaging equipment. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance requirements, maintaining accurate technical documentation. • Review FDA, manufacturer, and recall notifications; investigate equipment-related incident reports to support patient safety. • Provide in-service training and technical presentations to staff on equipment operation and electrical safety. • Participate in on-call rotation, flexible scheduling, vendor training, and support across multiple hospital locations as needed.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred; OEM or modality-specific training strongly preferred. 3+ years of progressive experience performing component and/or board-level repair in medical imaging (5+ years preferred). Experience supporting modalities such as Ultrasound, X-Ray, Cath Lab, Anesthesia, or related imaging systems. Preferred certifications: CBET, CRES, Military (DoD) BMET, or OEM/vendor repair certifications. Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of QA/PM standards, and proficiency with CMMS/work order systems.
