Summary
Provides support for cadaveric bioskills training event sponsored by medical device companies, surgical societies, and hospitals and maintenance of the facility when the lab is not in use.

Job Duties

• Equipping and organizing lab facilities and cleaning, processing, and coordinating supplies
• Participate in onsite training and cadaveric labs from set up to clean up
• Efficiently plan, prepare, pack, and ship resources for off site cadaveric lab events
• Decontaminate and organize equipment, instrumentation, and disposables following each event
• Maintains equipment and material parts for the center and makes recommendations when supplies and instrumentation is needed.
• Complete general clerical duties including data entry, copying, scanning, fax and mailing

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Proficient in MS Software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Highly motivated and willing to work as needed.
• Surgical/Operating Room experience preferred

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
