HJF is seeking a Biostatistician I to provide biostatistical support for clinical and/or laboratory research. This involves performing statistical analysis on data collected from clinical trials and/or research studies. The Biostatistician I participates in cross-functional teams or specific projects with defined outcomes and performs data analysis with guidance and appropriate controls, while decisions are made with supervisory guidance.
This position will be in support of the DoW/USU Brain Tissue Repository (BTR) under the Department of Pathology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The BTR was established by the Department of War to advance traumatic brain injury research. The BTR's mission is to better understand the effects of traumatic brain injury and promote overall brain health of the Warfighter. Using the best science, we support our service members and their families to help care for our military after a head injury.
