St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) is a coeducational, non-sectarian, college-preparatory day school serving more than 920 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Our two campuses are located approximately a mile apart in St. Paul, Minnesota, serving Grades K-5 on our Goodrich Campus and Grades 6-12 on our Randolph Campus. The school draws students from St. Paul, Minneapolis, and throughout the eastern and western suburbs.

Position Summary
The BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) Recruitment and Hiring Specialist is an exciting position in support of SPA's DEI Strategic Plan to develop and implement strategic faculty recruiting programs. This position has a significant external component focused on outreach, building relationships with regional colleges and universities, and developing a regional network of educators and professionals who know SPA. In this work, this position will collaborate closely with the Director of Intercultural Life and the Assistant Head of School for Academic Programs. The position will focus on the recruitment and retention of BIPOC employees, and the hiring and onboarding process for all employees. The BIPOC Recruitment and Retention Specialist will report to the Human Resources Director.
The BIPOC Recruitment and Retention Specialist will support SPA's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as part of the DEIB strategic plan to recruit and hire a diverse faculty and staff. The successful candidate will be a creative self-starter who can take initiative, responds flexibly to the needs of the position, and is receptive and responsive to feedback and will be an integral part of the community across all divisions. Candidates should support the mission of SPA and be eager to join a fast-paced professional community in which collaboration is valued and professional growth is the norm.

Salary Range: $70,000- $80,000
