Birthday Party Coordinator
The Little Gym of Kalamazoo | Part-Time | 5–10 Hours Per Week
The Little Gym of Kalamazoo is looking for an energetic, dependable, and positive Birthday Party Coordinator to join our leadership team! This position is perfect for someone who loves working with children, enjoys developing others, and takes pride in creating fun, organized, and memorable experiences for families.
Position Overview
The Birthday Party Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our Birthday Parties, Parent Survival Nights, and Camps. This team member will work events regularly while also helping train, support, and evaluate other team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work Birthday Parties consistently.
- Train new team members for Birthday Parties, Parent Survival Nights, and Camps.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to current team members.
- Evaluate team member performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in continuous training.
- Help maintain consistent standards for safety, customer service, organization, and FUN!
- Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Attend monthly team meetings and provide input regarding training and development for Birthday Parties, Parent Survival Nights, and Camps.
- Serve as a positive role model and leader for the team.
Schedule & Hours
Part-Time: Approximately 5–10 hours per week
Hours may vary based on our party and event schedule.
Typical Availability Needed:
- Saturdays: Approximately 1:30–6:30 PM (hours may vary)
- Sundays: Schedule TBD
- Monthly Sunday Team Meeting: Required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Dependable and comfortable taking initiative.
- Able to provide positive, constructive feedback to team members.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and comfortable leading groups.
- Willing to learn and participate in ongoing training.
- Weekend availability is required.
