Birthday Party Host / Hostess – Part Time

GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 

                Under the general supervision of the manager on duty, performs a variety of customer service and cleaning related duties associated with birthday parties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•  Maintains a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
•  Sets up birthday party rooms.
•  Cleans up birthday party rooms.
•  Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
•  Communicates accurate and professional information to patrons.
•  Engages party at front desk, takes them through the facility to the waterpark area, and gets them their pizza, drinks, and is responsible for all other aspects of the party.
•  Energetic and cheerful towards all guest.
•  Responsible for attending staff meetings and trainings.
•  Ensures highest quality of birthday party experience for guest of honor and parent(s).
•  Acts as team member and assists in other capacity as needed..
•  Responsible for completing all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Work responsibilities will be performed in a standard recreational facility, however all functions named in this section could also be performed on pool desk or gymnasium floor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Work is performed in several environments:

•  An office setting.
•  A recreational facility setting.
•  Working indoors and outdoors.

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED: 

Standard office equipment that include; fax and copy machines, and telephones.  Maintenance and cleaning equipment that include; vacuums, mops, brooms, sprayers, disinfectors, hoses and any other equipment associated with use in a recreational facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ JOB STANDARDS: 

Must be able to work Saturday and Sundays
