We’re currently seeking a Bistro Cook & Server to join our team.

Position Summary

The Bistro Cook/Server is a dual-role position responsible for preparing and serving fresh, high-quality food and beverages while delivering an exceptional guest experience in the Courtyard Bistro. This role blends culinary execution, guest service, and operational support in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and cook Bistro menu items according to brand standards, recipes, and food safety guidelines
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep areas, and equipment
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Guest Service

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve food and beverages promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Handle cash and credit card transactions using the POS system
• Address guest questions, requests, and concerns in a timely and courteous manner

Bistro Operations

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning, and setup
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
• Support bar service as needed (beer/wine service where applicable and permitted)
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications:

• Previous food service, cooking, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic food safety knowledge; food handler certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
